Since we began in 1989, Telstra Child Flight has airlifted more than 7,000 children and babies. Telstra Child Flight is a registered charity. Partially funded by the Government, we rely on the generous support of our sponsors and the public to raise the money needed to cover the high costs of our life saving missions, which can range between $8,000 and $16,000 each.

Fatima is our 7,000th Retrieval! A 19 day old baby was rushed to a hospital intensive care facility in Sydney by Telstra Child Flight on the 7th of July this year – the seventh day of the seventh month. This was not in itself a remarkable coincidence. Critically ill kids are airlifted byTelstra Child Flight at least once and up to three times on any day. However, this baby, Fatima Kassem of Wollongong, was also our 7,000th retrieval.....more.
